Dexter seasons are crime based suspense drama full of mystery; developed by James Manos, Jr. Most of its episodes are shot in Miami and some in Florida. The series revolve around Dexter Morgan, who works as a secret serial killer for the Miami Metro Police Department. Originally the show is broadcasted on Showtime channel. It uses HDTV 1080i Picture and Surround sound Audio format. Michael C. Hall, Clyde Phillips, Sara Colleton, John Goldwyn, Daniel Cerone and Charles H. Eglee have produced the show. Its theme music has been composed by Rolfe Kent. Dexter season 1 was premiered on October 1, 2006 adopting plot from the novel of same name.
In early season 1, Dexter is adopted at the age of three, by Harry Morgan, a Miami (2006-10-01) police officer, who observes his extraordinary skills and conditions him to kill persons who deserve death. Most of the person’s killed by Dexter are the one’s who have committed several crimes and killed innocent people. These murderers roam freely because of the imperfect justice system and are a danger to society. To hide his true identity he works as a Blood spatter analyst for the Miami metro Police Department and strictly follows ‘Code of Harry’ to control his emotions. This code was given to him by Harry who is shown in flashbacks and died many years before starting of the show.
