Michael C. Hall is well known for his portrayal of Dexter Morgan on the hit TV series, Dexter. Trust me guys, he simply rocks. He is actually too good to explain. Even he believes that his role on Dexter is a mile stone in his professional career.
I remember some time back in an interview, talking about his portrayal on Dexter, he said, “I think Dexter is a man who… a part of himself is very much frozen, or arrested in a place that is pre-memory, pre-conscious, pre-verbal. Something very traumatic happened to him, he doesn’t know what that is. And I think on some level he wants to know. He denies his humanity, he describes himself as someone who is without feeling, and yet I think that he maybe suspects - in a way that maybe isn’t even conscious yet when we first meet him - that he is in fact a human being … Dexter’s a unique killer in that his father saw his dark impulses, shined a light on them, and told Dexter that he saw them, he accepted them, that Dexter is good and that he is worthy of love. And I think that’s what enables him to focus his energies in this unique way.”
It was past, now let’s come to the present.
Well, presently all the fans of the shows are keeping an eagle eye on Dexter. Everyone is curious to know what happens next and how things move. I am also one such fan.
And while I was looking for the upcoming season’s information, I gotta know about the pilot episodes of the show that will air on September 27, 2009. The episode will be entitled as “Living the Dream“.
In this episode, Dexter will be show residing in his new home with his family of three kids and a charming wife. It will also be shown that the responsibilities of a father will disturb him while concentrating on his work.
I am sure that this episode and in fact the entire upcoming season will be amazing.
