Jaime Murray, a British actress, is the daughter of Billy Murray, a well known actor. She was diagnosed with dyslexia even before she took her A levels. She enrolled in London School of Economics in order to study Philosophy and Psychology. She later dropped out to train at the Drama Center.
Making her debut in acting were her appearances on BBC One’s ‘Casualty’, ‘The Bill’ and ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ etc. Jaime Murray was the one to mime the lyrics in the 1996 original video of ‘Stretch ‘n’ Vern’s dance track ‘I’m Alive’ and it definitely set her on the top of the success.
Jaime joined ‘Hustle’ in the first series of the show and she continued till series 4. She joined ‘Dexter’ in the second season of show. She made a guest appearance on ‘Love Soup’. She has recently finished shooting for Nathan Adolfson’s ‘Possessions’ and it’s to be released in early 2009. In 2008, she portrayed the character of Grace Valentine on The CW’s ‘Valentine’. Among her other acting credits are ‘The Byzantine Cat’, ‘Agatha Christie’s Poirot’, ‘Botched’, ‘The Deaths of Ian Stone’, and ‘The Rapture’ etc.
