Season 2 finale The British Invasion review

So, Dexter season 2 ends here. For me at least, Dexter is so terrific show but series finale was not that terrific. I do think that it could have been better.

Dramatically, there was a pretty dissatisfactory turn of events. I started watching this episode assuming that Doakes will die. And, I was right, why, you can understand if you’ve watched previous episode from series. It was impossible to run series with him alive.

For me, the best scene on the episode had Dexter show up at Lila’s to kill her, only for Deb to arrive at the same time. Lila starts discovering what was happening and was just to open Dexter’s bag of murder weapons in front of Deb. Oh! That scene was really very suspenseful. I was known that before series ends, Deb will find out the reality about her bro.

That’s not what happened however, as Lila left, only to then kidnap Astor and Cody, after confirming Dexter’s intentions towards her. Dexter comes for their rescue, Lila sets her loft on fire to burn them all inside. Dexter plays like a hero and saves the kind and also him. A little disappointed was here to see needy Deb as she kept trying to force a relationship with Lundy. Episode ends with Rita who seems too cool with her kids and realizes that it’s right time for her to freak. Astor and Cody sure were in good spirits considering they just went through an experience that should leave them in therapy for years. Meanwhile download the earlier season here.

So, this was the season finale. Looking for season 3. It’s not declared yet. It will come, when, I don’t. Do you know, come, on, tell me as I m looking for season 3 which will deal with all issues left unsolved during season 2 and I’m curious to see what happens next for Miami’s most prolific serial killer.

 

Is Michael C. Hall dating Deb, his sis on series

Guys! A little rumor is running around.

Michael C. Hall stars as Dexter, a hit series which has recently completed its season 2 on Showtime network. Jennifer Carpenter, Debra Morgan on Dexter is playing his sis who’s a homicide detective.

On screen they are playing Bro-sis but something another is here Off-screen. The couple is said to have been dating for around four months. And, it looks that they’re trying to keep it as a secret as “Michael is already married and his divorce case filed against his wife is still pending. Last week, the couple was recognized at the Sunset Tower Hotel after the news that Dexter is honored with Peabody awards. Sources say, “It was Romantic. They were drinking Champagne and were clearly celebrating”.

They guys are playing siblings on series and I think it will be the first Brother-sister couple in the TV history. Let’s be happy for them as it’s good news because they have both found their true love. Meanwhile you can download all the latest episodes of dexter TV show here.

 

Dexter: honored with Peabody Awards

Peabody Awards are the prestigious awards for excellence in broadcasting-next to EMMY awards.

The 67^th Annual Peabody award winners were announced on April 2, 2008 and the list contains the name of your fave TV show Dexter. Well download now all of its episodes if you won’t have them yet !

Peabody board is a part of University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and the winners will receive awards on June 16 a luncheon at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel. And, Brian Williams will host the Awards ceremony. Last year winners included The Office and Friday Night Lights. Why Dexter this time is because of series’ complex and ambiguous meditation on morality. Other winners include: 30 Rock, The Colbert Report, Mad Men, and Project Runway etc.

Dexter TV show is set to create a Video Game

Marc Echo Entertainment made an official announcement that Emmy Award Winning Dexter is getting his own video game which will be produced by Marc Echo Entertainment and Showtime Networks. The company pointed out that they will try their best to keep the game in the same spirit of the show.

Marc Echo Entertainment is the game and television arm which was founded in Feb, 2007. Marc Fernandez, VP of Marc Echo Entertainment said, “Our game designers, writers and artists are going to give Dexter’s morally complex world the kind of interactivity that gamers will love”. Len Fogge , Executive VP, Marketing at Show Networks said “Dexter is one of the most popular shows on show time with a particularly strong fan base among gamers.”

Well, they are ready to make a great, great, great game and we can just wait for that as everyone knows most Hollywood TV shows such as Law& Order, The Sopranos, Deal or No Deal don’t translate well to games. Let’s see What Dexter has to offer meanwhile watch episodes Dexter online
